On Saturday 14th September at the School of Medicine, Jalview took part in Dundee’s Doors Open Day. Visitors tried out the new ‘Visualising DNA, RNA & Proteins’ Jalview School Workbook. The exercise that identified the genetic mutation responsible for sickle cell anaemia using Jalview’s DNA/protein split-screen viewer proved very popular.
